Made to Order

Roll up covers are made to order according to your specific pool. Roll up spa covers can be made in round, square, rectangle. Sparmadillo covers are made at our premises in Rotorua using redwood timber from just down the road, 25mm thick NZ wool insulation, stainless steel hardware and a waterproof liner.

Sparmadillo – the back story

Sparmadillo, the spiny backed roll up spa and hot tub cover company is owned & operated by the inventors of ZORB Rotorua. Never short of an idea, we were frustrated at how quickly spa covers disintegrated at our tourism business, how heavy there were to take on and off our hot tubs, and the fact that not part of the old covers were recyclable but had to be taken to landfill. Our team have been building, testing & improving them since 2020. After using them daily out in the elements we discovered that what we make, are durable, easy to use & look great too.
